We recommend saving the file to a familiar location on your computer to make the installation easier.
Step 2: Install the Plugin on Your Computer
The installation path depends on your operating system. Follow the instructions that correspond to your setup.
For Mac OS X Users
Unzip the downloaded file.
Open Finder.
Go to your Mac’s system Library folder, not the Library folder of your current user account.
The correct path is:
/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins/
Important: do not use the following path:
~/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins/
The ~ symbol refers to the Library folder of the current user account. DaVinci Resolve looks for the HERAW plugin in the main system Library folder.
If the
Workflow Integration Pluginsfolder does not exist, create it manually.Copy the HERAW plugin into this folder.
Make sure the plugin is installed in:
/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins/
Completely close DaVinci Resolve if it is already running.
Restart DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Open the Workflow Integrations menu and check that HERAW appears in the list.
Important
macOS has two different Library folders.
The correct folder for installing the HERAW plugin is the system Library folder located at the root of your Mac:
/Library/
Do not use the Library folder associated with your user account:
~/Library/
If the plugin is installed in the user Library folder, it may be present on the Mac but not appear in DaVinci Resolve.
For Windows Users
Open File Explorer.
Go to the following path (paste it directly into the address bar):
%PROGRAMDATA%\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Workflow Integration Plugins\
Create the folder if it doesn’t already exist.
Copy the plugin file you downloaded into this folder.
Step 3: Finalize the Installation
Once the plugin is placed in the correct directory:
Launch DaVinci Resolve.
The application should automatically detect and integrate the plugin into your workflow.
If the plugin does not appear immediately, try restarting DaVinci Resolve or your computer.
