Who can do this ?
All users who are at the origin of a project or file and any user who has been invited to participate in a project or file with the role of Administrator, Service Provider or Validator
Steps
Go to the Projects page by clicking on the ‘Briefcase’ icon in the left menu or by going to the following URL:
Choose a project by clicking on its name to open it
or
Click on the ‘Folders’ tab at the top right of the interface
Double click on a file to display it in a player (If the format is not supported, the player is not displayed. )
View the file in the new interface that has opened
Click on the ‘Annotate’ button at the top right of the interface
Choose the task menu in the bottom right interface (choice between note and task)
Choose the team in which you want to publish the task from the drop-down menu (This option is only visible to Administrators)
Choose the type of note you want to add:
Global : Adds a note that concerns the entire file
Sequence : Available only on videos and soundtracks, allows you to choose a start and end timecode for your note. Simply navigate through the video and click on the icons to the left and right of the fields to retrieve the current timecode of your video.
Zone / Drawing : Zone is available on videos, soundtracks, images, PDFs. Allows you to draw a rectangular area on the player. Drawing is available on videos, soundtracks, images, PDFs. Allows you to draw freehand on the player
Enter the description of your note
Click on the ‘Paper clip’ icon at the bottom left of the description field to add an attachment to your note
Click on the due date field to select a deadline for completing the task
Click on the ‘Assigned’ field to display the list of people to assign to the task
Click on the desired names to associate the project members with the task (the visible members are the Administrators and the members of the selected team)
Click on the ‘Publish’ button at the bottom right of the panel to publish the note and make it visible to all authorized users
