Steps

Go to the Projects page by clicking on the ‘Briefcase’ icon in the left menu or by going to the following URL:

Choose a project by clicking on its name to open it

Click on the ‘Folders’ tab at the top right of the interface

or

Go to the DAM page by clicking on the ‘Folders’ icon in the left menu or by going to the following URL:

Select a folder that contains files

Double click on a video file to open it

Click on the ‘Subtitles’ icon at the bottom right of the video timecode

Choose ‘Create subtitle’ to open the subtitle management window for this file

or

Click on the ‘Subtitles’ icon at the top right of the context menu

Click on the ‘Add subtitle’ icon at the top right of the subtitle panel that has opened

Choose ‘Create subtitle’ to open the subtitle management window for this file

Enter a name for the new subtitle file

Choose a language for this subtitle file

Check the ‘Create from copy’ box if you wish to duplicate an existing subtitle file

Click on the ‘New section’ icon at the top right of the subtitle panel

Choose the subtitle start timecode by clicking on the ‘TC IN’ icon to retrieve the current timecode

Navigate the video to choose the end timecode of the subtitle

Choose the end of subtitle timecode by clicking on the ‘TC OUT’ icon to retrieve the current timecode

Enter the desired text in the available text field

Click on the ‘Save’ icon at the top right of the subtitle block to validate the addition of the subtitle
