Who can do this ?
All members of a project who have the Administrator or Contributor role
Steps
Go to the Projects page by clicking on the ‘Briefcase’ icon in the left menu or by going to the following URL:
Choose a project by clicking on its name to open it
Browse folders to go to the relevant folder
or
Go to the DAM page by clicking on the “Folder” icon in the left menu or by going to the following URL:
Choose a project by clicking on its name to open it
Browse folders to go to the relevant folder
Right click on the file
Choose ‘Add a version’ to display the add version window
Click on ‘Select files’ to open your computer’s file explorer and choose a file
Drag and drop a file into the window
Add a personalized message if you wish
Click on the ‘Add’ button
or
Drag and drop a file into the interface with the same name as an already existing file to add it as a new version automatically
or
Take a file already present in the folder to drag and drop it onto another file to make a new version
Information
The versions are stacked on top of each other automatically, you can access them from the window of all versions of a file.
When a file is validated, it is not possible to add a new version, except in the event of changing preferences from the Organization's administration console.
A badge with the version number increments automatically.
