In HERAW, users are assigned different workspace roles that determine their level of control over the platform. These roles define what users can manage at the workspace level, beyond individual projects and folders.
User Types in a HERAW Workspace
There are three main user types in a HERAW workspace:
• Workspace Admin 👑: The highest level of access, with full control over the workspace, including user management, security settings, integrations, and overall customization. A Workspace Admin has unrestricted access to all projects, DAMs, and Casts within the workspace.
• Standard 🛠️: A user with administrative capabilities but with limited control. They can manage some workspace settings, such as project creation, resource management, and user visualization, but do not have full access to security settings or storage management.
• Basic 👥: A standard member of the workspace who can only access projects where they have been explicitly assigned a role. Their permissions within projects are restricted to Contributor, Validator, or Viewer roles.
How Workspace Roles Impact Permissions
Each user type comes with a predefined set of permissions, determining their ability to manage key aspects of the workspace. Super Admins have complete control over user and resource management, while Standard users have more limited administrative functions. Basic users, on the other hand, do not have workspace-level management privileges but can collaborate within their assigned projects.
